Interesting bit of mysterious irony...

Took MP3 to Orem today to have her stitches out, and have Dr. Pew give her the once over. He checked her out, said all was well, and he figured that she is healthy enough that he may not have to see her again. EVER.  Dr. Pew said she is the perfect weight for her age...31 lbs.  He says many bulldogs are severely obese and he would like it if Lily's full adult weight was not to exceed 35 lbs. She walks 2+ miles per day so her heart is strong, her muscles are strong, her lungs are strong. The soft pallet issue has been resolved, and her breathing is nearly perfect. One of my criteria when searching for a puppy was a parent under 50 lbs because I didn't want a dog I couldn't lift. I can do 35lbs.  So in short, even though she was broken, and cost us a lot of heartache and extra cash, she is turning out to be the healthiest bulldog we have had to date... interesting isn't it?
