Sunday,
The Rt. Rev. Scott B. Hayashi, Bishop of the Episcopal Church in Utah, came to visit us at St. John's. His mission, to confirm 12 new Episcopal members, and Re-affirm one established member.
A Member may be confirmed when
"after appropriate instruction, will have made a mature public affirmation of their faith and commitment to the responsibilities of their Baptism and will have been confirmed or received by a Bishop of this Church or by a Bishop of a Church in communion with this Church" http://archive.episcopalchurch.org/documents/confirmation.pdf
