Prom 2016 will be one I remember forever

So, what's a prom without some Proma Drama, right?

This year, we have Girl #1 who goes to a different school than Boy#1, so she asked him to go to her high school prom with her.  He's not a huge fan of dances, but graciously he says sure, rents a tux, gets all "matchy matchy" and all is well.

Then we have girl #2 who attends the same school as girl #1, and has been dating boy #2 for a loooong time. She found and purchased a prom dress around Christmas time, because she liked it,  and has been patiently waiting for boy #2 to ask her to go. Finally, she began to worry that he wasn't going to ask her, so she made a beautiful hand drawn poster of memories of their dates together over the last year or so, and prom-posed to him during their school lunch hour. Well, boy number two, ripped up her painstakingly hand drawn poster, and replied:

"No I don't want to go to prom, and even if I did, I wouldn't want to go with you."

Wow.

Girl #1 was sooo upset about this happening at school and in front of everyone. She went home feeling terrible for Girl #2 and a bit angry about boy #2, so to help her feel better she shared what happened with Boy #1.

His response?

He asked if it would be ok to take both girls to prom.

Wow.

Boy #1 posed for photos, took both girls to dinner, and then to the dance. Somehow, by divine intervention, Girl #2's dress was even "matchy matchy."

Girl #1 made flower crowns, the boutineer, and both the girl's corsages so the flower would all be "matchy matchy," too.

I have many reasons to be a proud parent, but this is one reason those two will always be #1 with me.
