What happens when you try to eat a 2x2 square shaped dog treat without chewing?
Result: You gulp air, look really worried, drool and lick, swallow hard, and try to get it down.
Fortunately, after 40 minutes and a call to the emergency vet, it softened enough to be swallowed.
Please, always remember to chew your food.
p.s. We broke the rest of the dog treats into thirds, just in case.
